The dashboard templates allow to quickly create dashboards for identical or similar objects. The differences can be defined afterwards and then a new dashboard can be created automatically on template basis. And actual data sources (connections to registers, and "template - ascending dashboard" register substitutions) can be defined in a new dashboard created from a template. The template is created same way as a common dashboard, with indication that it is a template.
After the creation of the dashboard it will appear in the general list with the corresponding sign.
The template is edited just like a regular deshbord.
When creating a new dashboard based on the template, you need to specify which registers in the template to replace with the registers in the new dashboard. In this case, the register addresses in the connections must be the same, and for missing substitution pairs the old data source will be used.
